As a consulting engineering office, we support companies on their way to greater efficiency, climate responsibility and corporate future-proofing. We take a holistic view of sustainability – from the selection of materials, the production line to the energy supply, well-founded, practical and economically viable. Whether it’s energy saving, the use of raw materials or circular processes: we develop solutions that work – technically resilient and can be implemented in everyday life. This makes sustainability measurable, feasible and affordable.
Strategy & Management
Making sustainability plannable. Together with our customers, we develop clear goals that are economically resilient and sustainable. Progress is made measurable – with systems that work in everyday life. Renewable energies are not an end in themselves, but are sensibly integrated into the production process. And when it comes to annoying reporting obligations – whether ESGEnvironmental, Social and Governance or CSRDCorporate Sustainability Reporting Directive: no more stumbling, but reliable statements, neatly documented.

Personnel & Culture
Sustainability begins in the mind and grows when it becomes part of the corporate culture. To achieve this, goals must not only be defined, but also anchored in everyday life. With training courses on resource efficiency, energy-saving training and tools such as the CIPContinuous Improvement Process or Design Thinking workshops, we help to make sustainable action the norm. Ergonomically designed workplaces reduce downtime, sustainably increase productivity and strengthen employee loyalty. To this end, we are developing practical incentive systems – tailored to the location and workforce. Whether charging infrastructure for private e-cars with their own solar power, carpooling models or subsidies for individual mobility: sustainable action is not only possible, but also attractive.
Buildings & Infrastructure
Where energy is wasted through walls and gates, sustainability becomes a mathematical task. Optimised insulation concepts in accordance with GEG 2024Building Energy Act 2024 and targeted daylight planning permanently reduce heating and lighting requirements. On the basis of DIN V 18599German Industry Standard for the Energy Assessment of Buildings, we analyse the energy requirements of production and office buildings and identify potential savings during operation. In doing so, we take into account both structural and technical aspects. The integration of intelligent control systems enables demand-based energy distribution – tailored to usage, shift times and temperature zones. In addition, we develop supply concepts that combine self-consumption, waste heat utilisation and load management – for example with PV systems, heat pumps, battery storage systems or the use of residual materials in CHP plants (combined heat and power). In doing so, the building becomes an active part of the sustainability strategy.

Sustainable energy supply
A sustainably stable and efficient energy supply is a strategic success factor today. We develop innovative supply concepts for electricity, heat and process energy – demand-oriented and future-proof. Whether heat recovery, heat pumps or the use of production residues in
CHPcombined heat and power plants: Our solutions combine technical efficiency with cost-effectiveness and sustainability. Photovoltaics, battery storage and intelligent load management complement the system and ensure falling energy costs and long-term security of supply. We keep an eye on subsidy programs and CO₂ balances from the very beginning.
IT systems & Data
Data is the key to resource efficiency – if you use it correctly. We implement systems for real-time analysis of energy and material flows and integrate the data into existing ERPEnterprise Resource Planning and MESManufacturing Execution System structures. Simulation models in CAD / CAMComputer-Aided Design / Computer-Aided Manufacturing reduce waste and digital twins make complex processes plannable. With smart evaluations, we visualize the decisive key figures – in an understandable and action-oriented way. Whether energy monitoring, consumption analysis or operational control: Our systems provide the basis for sustainable decisions in everyday life. So that IT not only documents, but also designs.

Product development & Management
Sustainability starts with the product. Variant management reduces complexity – and at the same time lowers material and storage costs. Certified or recyclable raw materials are tested for the selection of materials, including dismantling and reuse concepts. Supply chains are analysed and optimised in terms of transparency, resilience and ecological standards. We use LCALife Cycle Assessment and the SCISustainable Cost Indicator to make environmental impacts and cost factors visible. If required, we also accompany you through certification processes according to ISOInternational Organization for Standardization, FSCForest Stewardship Council, PEFCProgramme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification and other standards. This results in sustainable product development that has an impact.
Production & Processes
Saving resources begins in the process. Optimized batch sizes and cleverly planned operating orders reduce the use of materials, lower energy costs and avoid unnecessary downtimes. The running times of machines are adjusted in a targeted manner – for more productivity and less wear. We integrate waste heat recovery systems where they really make a difference. Through data-based analyses, we improve OEEOverall Equipment Effectiveness without losing sight of the production reality. The result: stable processes, reduced operating costs – and measurable progress towards sustainability.

Material flow & Logistics
Understanding material flows means avoiding waste of time, energy and raw materials. With data-based analysis, we optimize routes, reduce transport costs and improve the use of space in the company. Transparent energy consumption is the basis for targeted savings. Suitable monitoring systems show where load peaks occur, where transport runs unnecessarily – and where there are alternatives. From the reuse of offcuts to CO₂-neutral route planning: We make logistics efficient and sustainable – with solutions that fit the reality of operations, not just theory on paper.
Residual materials & Circular economy
Residues are raw materials – if you think about them correctly. Whether it’s offcuts, packaging or grinding dust, what is considered waste is often just untapped potential. Together, we reduce the volume of residual materials through cutting optimization, intelligent packaging concepts and process adjustments along the entire value chain. We develop ecological and economically sensible recycling strategies for what remains – from material recycling and sale as a secondary raw material to energy use in our own operations. In addition, we provide support in residue monitoring, ESGEnvironmental, Social and Governance reports and the implementation of circular economy strategies. The goal is a strategy in which residual materials are not disposed of, but used – as a resource, not as a cost factor.

Funding & Financing
Sustainability pays off – especially when the financing is in place. We help you find the right funding programmes – whether
BAFAFederal Office of Economics and Export Control, KFWKreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau or industry-specific solutions at state or EU level. In doing so, we systematically check which programs really fit – tailored to project content, deadlines and verification obligations. For honest transparency about what is possible – and what is not. Applications are not simply submitted, but strategically prepared, supported in implementation and the quality of the evidence ensured. Our goal: smooth project processes and maximum financial leverage. In this way, sustainability does not become a question of cost, but an investment with prospects.
